Nylah Mustafa

Nylah Mustafa is an Associate in the New York office of Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP.  Nylah focuses her practice on representing consumers around the country in a variety of significant and complex matters.  

Prior to joining Labaton Keller Sucharow, Nylah practiced at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where she represented clients in complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts and in arbitration.  Her experience included work on high-stakes disputes, internal investigations, and trial proceedings, providing her with a strong foundation in sophisticated litigation and strategic advocacy.

Nylah has maintained an active commitment to pro bono service throughout her legal career.  Her work has included representing underserved individuals and contributing to matters aimed at expanding access to justice.  In recognition of her dedication to public service, she received the Pro Bono Publico Award from New York City’s Legal Aid Society.

Nylah is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and is actively involved with the Leadership Institute for Women of Color Attorneys.  Through these affiliations, she remains engaged in professional development, mentorship, and community-focused leadership initiatives.

Nylah earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Howard University School of Law, where she participated in national moot court competitions and served as a teaching assistant for multiple courses.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum laude, from Ohio University, where she co-founded the Undergraduate Black Law Student Association.
