Labaton Keller Sucharow Named a Finalist in Eight Categories for the 2025 Women in Business Law Awards

Labaton Keller Sucharow is honored to be named a finalist in eight categories for the prestigious 2025 Women in Business Law Awards.  This recognition reflects both the firm’s ongoing commitment to excellence and the significant achievements of its attorneys across a range of practice areas.

The firm has been shortlisted in four categories:

  • Career Development North America Firm of the Year
  • Diverse Women Advocacy Firm of the Year: North America
  • Gender Diversity Advocacy North America Firm of the Year
  • Women in Business Law North America Firm of the Year

In addition, several members of the Labaton Keller Sucharow team have been recognized for their individual accomplishments:

  • Carol C. Villegas, Partner – Finalist for the Outstanding Achievement Award: North America
  • Lauren A. Ormsbee, Partner – Finalist for North America Securities Lawyer of the Year and Thought Leader of the Year: North America
  • Lisa Strejlau, Associate – Finalist for North America: Litigation Rising Star

At the 2024 Women in Business Law Awards, Labaton Keller Sucharow was named Gender Diversity North America Firm of the Year for the second consecutive year, and Partner Carol C. Villegas was honored as Securities Litigator of the Year and Thought Leader of the Year.  

The Women in Business Law Awards celebrate the initiatives and individuals that are setting new standards for leadership, innovation, and impact within the legal profession.  With recognition across more than 30 practice areas, the awards spotlight firms that support the advancement of women in law and recognize female practitioners who are driving meaningful change.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on June 17, 2025.  We extend our congratulations to all nominees and finalists and are proud to be counted among them.
