Thomas G. Hoffman, Jr. is a Partner in the New York office of Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP. As a senior member of the Firm’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Practice, he represents more than 2 million clients in complex matters involving data breaches, misuse of personal data, cryptocurrency, consumer finance, and personal banking litigation.
In addition to his work in ADR, Thomas has litigated federal securities class actions in jurisdictions across the country at both the District Court and Appellate Court level. He was instrumental in securing a $1 billion recovery in the eight-year litigation against AIG and related defendants in In re American International Group, Inc. Securities Litigation. He also was a key member of the teams that secured significant recoveries for investors in numerous other securities actions, including In re 2008 Fannie Mae Securities Litigation ($170 million settlement), In re PG&E Corporation Securities Litigation ($100 million settlement, pending final court approval), and In re The Allstate Corporation Securities Litigation ($90 million settlement).
