
Jean-Marc Appolon is an Associate in the New York office of Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP. He focuses his practice on representing consumers in complex matters, with an emphasis on case development and evaluation.
Prior to joining Labaton Keller Sucharow, Jean-Marc served as an attorney in the Information Security & Data Privacy Office at the New York State Insurance Fund, handling AI, cybersecurity, and data privacy compliance matters. He previously worked as an Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he focused on data privacy compliance. During law school, Jean-Marc served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Lisa A. Sokoloff of the New York State Supreme Court.
Jean-Marc is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), and an Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP).
Jean-Marc serves as Co-Chair of the New York City Bar Association’s Technology, Cyber, and Privacy Law Committee.
Jean-Marc earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida.
