Late Chairman Christopher J. Keller Inducted into Lawdragon’s  Hall of Fame

Labaton Keller Sucharow is honored to announce that late Chairman Christopher J. Keller has been inducted into Lawdragon’s Hall of Fame.  This highly regarded distinction is reserved for a select group of elite attorneys whose outstanding contributions have made a profound mark on the legal industry and shaped the profession in meaningful and enduring ways.

Chris’s induction into the Hall of Fame reinforces his legacy as a steadfast titan of the plaintiffs’ bar.  As Chairman and as Head of the Firm’s Executive Committee, Chris played a pivotal role in expanding Labaton’s global footprint and strengthening its core practice areas, leading the Firm through a period of remarkable growth and acting as a driving force behind our continued success and leadership in the industry.  Among his many outstanding achievements, under Chris’s leadership the Firm achieved record-setting victories on behalf of investors and consumers, including a $1 billion settlement in In re Dell Technologies Inc. Class V Stockholders Litigation and a $650 million settlement in In re Facebook Biometric Information Privacy Litigation.  He was also instrumental in securing a $473 million settlement in In re Schering-Plough Corporation/ENHANCE Securities Litigation and a $265 million settlement in In re Massey Energy Co. Securities Litigation, among many others.  

Beyond his work as a pioneering force in litigation, Chris was committed to advancing the Firm’s strategic initiatives and to developing its widely recognized culture of performance, collaboration, and collegiality.  To meet the expanding needs of clients, Chris established the Firm’s in-house Case Evaluation Group, which identifies, investigated, and develops potential actions to recover losses resulting from violations of federal securities laws.  In addition, his leadership was instrumental in launching the Firm’s industry leading ADR Practice, which has since achieved over $250 million in recoveries for over 500,000 consumers and investors.

We are proud of Chris’s legacy as a trusted advocate and this recognition of his relentless pursuit of justice, which has left an indelible mark on the legal industry.
