On Thursday, February 12, Labaton Keller Sucharow and PENCIL, Inc. co-hosted high school students from EPIC South High School, High School for Global Citizenship, and Brooklyn Prep for an event that introduced students to the many possible career opportunities at a law firm. The students spoke with Labaton’s attorneys, and business professionals and spent time learning about law firm careers.
This event reflects Labaton’s commitment to giving back to the communities in which our lawyers, staff, and clients live and work. PENCIL was founded in 1995 to provide public school students with access to the relationships, skills, and opportunities that support their success through programming such as in-school partnerships, mentoring, internships, mock interviews and career panels, and events at partnering firms and businesses. PENCIL’s Executive Leadership Committee includes Labaton Associate Jessica N. Goudreault.
