Schmidt v. Gartner, Inc.

On June 11, 2026, Labaton Keller Sucharow was appointed Co-Lead Counsel in a securities class action against Gartner, Inc. (Gartner) and certain of its executives (collectively, Defendants).

Gartner is a leading research and advisory firm. The action alleges that Gartner misled investors by touting resilient, accelerating contract value growth and 2025 consulting revenue guidance while concealing significant growth deceleration.  Investors first learned about Gartner’s slowing growth on August 5, 2025, when Gartner announced a decline in its contract value growth rate.  On this news, Gartner's stock price plummeted 27.6%.  Then, on February 3, 2026, Gartner again announced a significant decline in its contract value growth rate and for the first time disclosed a substantial shortfall in its consulting segment’s performance against internal projections.  On this news, Gartner's stock price fell an additional 20.9%.

The case is Schmidt v. Gartner, Inc., No. 26-cv-00394 (D. Conn.).  Labaton Keller Sucharow represents Lead Plaintiff Arkansas Teacher Retirement System.
