Mara McLaughlin is an Investigator in the New York office of Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP. Mara’s primary responsibilities include gathering crucial evidence for case development, ranging from securities fraud to whistleblower representation.
Mara is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Financial Crime Investigator, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, and Certified Cyber Investigations Expert, as well as a licensed private investigator.
Prior to joining Labaton Keller Sucharow, Mara was a Securities Fraud Investigator at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP where she examined and documented evidence of securities fraud. Prior to that, Mara was a Senior Fraud Investigator at the New York State Insurance Fund, Division of Confidential Investigations where she conducted and supervised civil and criminal fraud investigations.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Dayton.
