Michael F. Flaherty is Of Counsel to Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP, where he advises leading pension funds, Taft-Hartley funds, and other institutional investors on corporate fraud in both domestic and international securities markets. Michael has more than 25 years of litigation experience representing clients in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.
Prior to joining the Firm, Michael was General Counsel at the Boston Water & Sewer Commission. Previously, he was a Partner at a national litigation firm, where he represented clients in complex legal matters. Michael also served as President of the Boston City Council and as Boston City Councilor at Large, as well as Assistant District Attorney in the Massachusetts Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. He received his bachelor’s degree from Boston College.
