Investment & Pensions Europe (IPE) interviewed Partner Eric J. Belfi for an article titled "Building a Class Action Toolbox for Investors" as part of their Class Actions: A Guide for Pension Funds and Asset Managers publication.  The publication spoke to Eric about the role class actions play in maintaining good governance and the growing number of pension funds pursuing corporate governance cases in the US.

Eric noted that legislation in the European Union "is driving asset owners and managers to be more proactive corporate citizens which means pursuing litigation when traditional engagement fails.”

"With the emphasis on funds being good corporate stewards, we are seeing an increased involvement by European funds in US corporate governance cases."
