Among her recent achievements, Carol co-led the trial team that secured the historic verdict in Frasco v. Flo Health Inc., a landmark victory for women's privacy rights. The case centered on the unauthorized disclosure of highly sensitive reproductive and health information, and the unanimous verdict reflected the powerful testimony of the courageous women who took the stand to share how those privacy violations affected their lives. Their voices helped send a clear message that consumers have a fundamental right to privacy and that companies entrusted with intimate health information must be held accountable when they fail to protect it. She also leads the litigation arising from the nationwide PowerSchool data breach, seeking accountability for the compromise of sensitive personal information belonging to millions of students, parents, and educators. In her remarks at the awards ceremony, Carol emphasized that privacy is a fundamental right and that companies entrusted with consumers’ most sensitive data must be held accountable when they fail to safeguard it. Her work continues to shape the future of privacy litigation while advancing stronger protections for consumers nationwide.
We are proud to be recognized for our steadfast commitment to innovation and impact within the legal profession.
