NEW YORK (December 9, 2015) – Labaton Sucharow LLP is pleased to announce that last night the Firm was selected as the winner for Securities Law in The National Law Journal’s (NLJ) 2015 Elite Trial Lawyers competition. Beating out four other finalists, Labaton Sucharow was recognized and honored at an awards ceremony in New York, where partners Martis Alex and Thomas A. Dubbs accepted the award on behalf of the Firm. Labaton Sucharow had previously been named as a finalist in September.
According to the NLJ, the Elite Trial Lawyers List focuses on U.S.-based firms that have done “exemplary and cutting-edge work on behalf of plaintiffs.” The nominees had to have scored at least one significant plaintiffs “win” in the past year, which could include persevering in the face of adversity, obtaining key rulings and settlements, or possessing an impressive track record of work within the past three to five years.
