Carol Villegas Elected to the City Bar Fund's Board of Directors

Labaton Sucharow partner Carol Villegas has been elected to the board of directors of the City Bar Fund, the nonprofit arm of the New York City Bar Association.

Founded in 1946, the City Bar Fund operates several programs that expand access to justice for the underserved in New York City; advance global justice by engaging lawyers across borders to support civil society; promote diversity and inclusion in the legal profession; provide experience, development and educational programs for students interested in the legal profession; and provide mental health services and substance use counseling to legal professionals.

In addition to leading one of Labaton Sucharow’s securities litigation teams, Carol is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee, and is a Co-Chair of the Firm’s Women’s Initiative and Pro Bono Committee.
