Michelle V. Cooper is an Associate in the New York office of Labaton Sucharow LLP. Michelle focuses on litigating securities fraud class actions on behalf of institutional investors.
Prior to joining Labaton Sucharow, Michelle was an Associate at Grant & Eisenhofer P.A., where she represented plaintiffs in complex litigation involving U.S. and foreign securities fraud, class action, and opt-out cases.
Michelle’s pro bono experience includes working as Chat Operator for Pro Bono Net’s LawHelpNY, an online legal resource for low-income and vulnerable New Yorkers.
Michelle is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Michelle earned her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where she received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and the CALI Award for excellence in trial advocacy and was a member of the Student Bar Association’s Budgetary Committee and the Brooklyn Business Law Association. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, summa cum laude, from Pace University.
