Matthew J. Grier is an Associate in the New York office of Labaton Sucharow LLP. Matt focuses his practice on litigating securities fraud class actions on behalf of institutional investors.
Prior to joining Labaton Sucharow, Matt was an Associate at Milbank LLP, where his practice focused on commercial and class action litigation, including securities class actions, as well as white collar defense and investigations implicating federal securities laws.
Matt’s pro bono experience includes providing representation to individuals in criminal proceedings.
Matt earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law where he was a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal and a recipient of the David F. and Mary Louise Condon Prize in American Legal History and Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Kenyon College.
