Joshua Zimberg is an Associate in the New York office of Labaton Sucharow LLP. Josh focuses his practice on representing investors in corporate governance and transactional matters, including class action litigation.
Prior to joining Labaton Sucharow, Josh was a Litigation Associate at Milbank LLP, where he represented public companies and private individuals in commercial, white-collar, securities, and bankruptcy matters before state and federal courts. Josh previously served as a Legal Intern in the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review, where he provided counsel to immigration courts, conducted rulemaking, disciplined attorney conduct, and prosecuted fraud. Prior to this, he spent several years working in government with U.S. Senator Carl Levin running civil rights and immigration casework.
Josh earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School. While in law school, he was an Associate Editor of the Michigan Journal of Environmental and Administrative Law and a member of the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic. Josh received his bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Wayne State University.
He is admitted to practice in New York.
