Overview

Elina S. Rakhlin is an Associate in the New York office of Labaton Sucharow LLP. Elina focuses on litigating securities fraud class actions on behalf of institutional investors.

Prior to joining Labaton Sucharow, Elina was an Associate at Pomerantz LLP where she worked with a Partner to lead several of the firm’s high-profile securities class actions. Prior to that, Elina was an Associate at Seeger Weiss LLP focused on class action, mass tort, and commercial matters.

Elina earned her Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she served as an Acquisitions Editor for the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal.  While in law school, she was an Intern in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and in the Bureau of Consumer Protection of the Federal Trade Commission.  Elina was also selected for the Alexander Fellows Judicial Clerkship, where she served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Jack B. Weinstein of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She received her bachelor’s degree from Baruch College, where she double majored in English and Political Science.
