Charles Farrell is an Associate in the New York office of Labaton Sucharow LLP. Charles represents institutional investors in complex securities litigation, focusing his practice on securities fraud class actions, including claims arising out of going private transactions.
Charles is actively involved in litigating cases against Peabody Energy, Nielsen, Uniti Group, and AT&T, among others. He was part of the team that secured a $39 million recovery in a securities class action against World Wrestling Entertainment.
Previously, Charles served as a Law Clerk at Labaton Sucharow. Prior to his current position, he interned for the Honorable Jenny Rivera, New York Court of Appeals, and externed at Shearman & Sterling LLP.
He is a member of the New York City Bar Association.
Charles earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law, where he was a Senior Staff Member of the St. John’s Law Review and a member of the Securities Arbitration Clinic and the Corporate and Securities Law Society. He earned his bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Marist College.
