Thomas A. Dubbs shares his perspective when facing large defense firms
In the Law360 Firm profile for being selected as a “Most Feared Plaintiffs Firm,” Labaton Sucharow partner Thomas A. Dubbs, who led the Fannie Mae case, remarked on a strength of the Firm’s attorneys.
Frequently “butting heads” against some of the biggest defense firms, testing the tenacity and resourcefulness of the Firm’s roughly 60 attorneys in New York City and Wilmington, Delaware, Dubbs noted, “The key to litigating against a big firm is you have to show you cannot be outmanned, and a war of attrition won’t work." He added, "That you will go step by step and mile by mile through the litigation and eventually you get to equilibrium."
