Serena Hallowell profiled in Law360 for her selection to publication’s annual list honoring attorneys under 40 who have made great strides in their profession
The article praised Hallowell’s work securing settlements against CVS Caremark Corp., Computer Sciences Corp., and NII Holdings Inc., focusing on her work in “Rocket Docket” jurisdictions.
“I think there is a benefit to having a clock on things,” she said. “Rather than see it as a limitation, I see it as an opportunity to look at your case early on and see what the strongest parts of it are.” .
Hallowell, who got an early jump on a career in legal advocacy by working as a clerk in her uncle’s law firm while she was a student in high school, credits her professional success and rise to partner status at Labaton to being willing to ask for opportunities and take ownership of them to achieve results when they come her way.
“I have perseverance, grit or tenacity or whatever you want to call it,” she said. “I don’t easily give up.”
