Partner and chair of the Firm's Whistleblower Representation Practice, Jordan A. Thomas, recently spoke to various media outlets on the findings of a recent survey co-sponsored by the Firm and The University of Notre Dame titled, The Street, The Bull, and The Crisis.
The survey, which probed "the ethical views of a broad spectrum of the industry, from young professionals to senior executives, investment bankers, and investment managers," in both the U.S. and the UK, among many things revealed that attitudes toward corruption within the industry have not changed for the better.
According to Jordan, "I think that the U.S. law-enforcement regulatory authorities are going to be troubled by the results of this survey, but the UK ones will be particularly troubled. This is actually indicative of an industry." He added, "Despite the headline-making consequences of corporate misconduct, attitudes toward corruption within the industry have not changed for the better."
