Theodore J. Hawkins



Theodore J. Hawkins focuses on prosecuting complex securities fraud cases on behalf of institutional investors. Currently, Ted is actively involved in prosecuting cases against Intuitive Surgical, Conn's, and Biogen.

Prior to joining Labaton Sucharow, Ted worked for two years as a law clerk for the Honorable Joanna Seybert in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Before clerking, Ted was an associate at Winston & Strawn LLP, where he represented banks, insurance companies, public-benefit corporations, and individuals in a broad array of commercial disputes.

Ted earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where he served as the Senior Articles Editor for St. John’s Law Review. He received his B.S. from Cornell University.
