Labaton Sucharow LLP Named to The National Law Journal's "Plaintiffs' Hot List" for the Second Consecutive Year

The National Law Journal named Labaton Sucharow LLP to its 2007 “Plaintiffs’ Hot List” for the second consecutive year. Labaton Sucharow was one of thirteen firms profiled nationwide in this year’s list. The list recognizes plaintiffs’ firms that have done exemplary, cutting-edge work on the plaintiffs' side.

In addition to stating that the Firm “has distinguished itself in pursuing securities and antitrust class actions,” The National Law Journal cited several of the Firm’s most notable securities class action victories including In re Mercury Interactive Securities Litigation ($117.5 million settlement and the largest settlement agreement to date in an options-backdating case) and In re Natural Gas Commodity Litigation ($101 million recovery and the second-largest to date under the Commodity Exchange Act).

The “Hot List” was based on a survey of the litigation scene over the past 12 months. Readers were asked to nominate plaintiffs' firms with at least one significant win within the last year, as well as an impressive record of victories over the preceding five years.
