Labaton Sucharow Welcomes Karin E. Garvey to Expanding Antitrust & Competition Practice

NEW YORK (December 7, 2015) – Labaton Sucharow LLP announced today the arrival of attorney Karin E. Garvey to the Firm’s New York office. Garvey will serve as of counsel to the Firm in its expanding Antitrust & Competition Litigation Practice.

With nearly 20 years of experience in antitrust and complex commercial litigation, Garvey has represented leading global companies at all stages of litigation. Prior to joining Labaton Sucharow, Garvey was counsel at international defense firm Kaye Scholer LLP, where she worked with clients in a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, cosmetics, film, finance, private equity, and building materials. Her practice experience also comprises civil litigation, including commercial and product liability, as well as government and internal investigations.

Garvey received a J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law, where she was the Note and Comment Editor of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology, and she earned an A.B., cum laude, in sociology from Harvard University.
