BOSI Contemporary Presents Labaton Sucharow Partner
Jon Plasse's "The Stadium"

NEW YORK (April 1, 2014) – Labaton Sucharow LLP announced today that partner Jon Plasse's photography was selected to be featured in an exhibition titled, "The Stadium," held at the BOSI Contemporary gallery on New York's Lower East Side from April 9 – 19. Corresponding with the beginning of the 2014 baseball season, "The Stadium" serves as a tribute to one of baseball's most storied icons.

The exhibit, which features images of the original Yankee Stadium, is Plasse's first solo gallery exhibition in New York City. The pictures recapture his childhood memories of attending Yankee games with his dad and highlight Plasse's frequent visits to Yankee Stadium in the last years of its existence, between 2004 - 2008, including images of its demolition in 2009. Plasse returned to the site to photograph the current baseball diamonds resting in the shadows of the new Yankee Stadium in 2013.

An accomplished litigator, Plasse is a longtime Yankee fan, as well as a fine arts photographer. His work focuses on the remembering or recapturing of a special time, place or experience. Plasse portrays intimate instants in which the Stadium often has a stillness to it; as noted by The New Yorker, Plasse's "camera is focused less on the game itself and more on the atmosphere the game creates."

BOSI Contemporary was founded by art dealer Sandro Bosi and opened its Lower East Side location in 2011. International in scope, the gallery displays the work of both emerging and well-established artists, selected for their unique aesthetic and vision.
