Michael W. Stocker Led a Panel Discussion on The Future of Over-the-Counter Derivatives

On November 1, 2010 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. EST, Michael W. Stocker led a panel discussion during a webcast entitled, "The Future of Over-the-Counter Derivatives." The webcast was hosted by West Professional Development.

Changes to the laws regulating over-the-counter derivatives are among the most talked-about aspects of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Other panelists joining Michael W. Stocker include Professor Christian Johnson of the University of Utah, and Reggie O'Shields, Associate General Counsel with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, who explored these amendments and their impact on clearing and reporting requirements, swap dealer participant classification, margin and capital requirements, hedge funds, and other issues.
