Law Seminars International hosted a conference entitled "Class Actions and Alternatives For Resolving Aggregate Claims" on June 17-18, 2013 in Boston, MA. Faculty consisting of experienced class action practitioners and agency representatives provided plaintiff, defendant and judicial perspectives on class actions today.
Labaton Sucharow Partner Christopher J. McDonald served on the panel "Evidentiary Standards: New Supreme Court Cases on When Plaintiffs Need to Prove What, and How They Need to Do That" on Monday, June 17, 2013, from 10:30am- 12:00pm. He discussed the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in Amgen v. Connecticut Retirement Funds.
