American Conference Institute's Cross-Industry Interdisciplinary Summit on Defending and Managing Class Actions

The American Conference Institute will host its Cross-Industry Class Actions Conference at the Park Lane Hotel in New York City on April 4, 2017. This annual event provides attendees with strategic advice, critical insights, and comprehensive updates on class action developments. Additional discussions to take place include tactics for stopping class actions before they start, winning arbitration strategies for class action litigations, and effective discovery approaches in class action litigations.
Partner Jonathan Gardner will participate in a panel titled, “Effective Discovery Strategies in Class Action Litigation: Managing Data, Overcoming Challenges of E-Discovery, the Use of Survey Evidence, and Pursuing Discovery in the Most Efficient and Cost-Effective Way for Your Client.” The panel will discuss a variety of issues including pre-certification discovery, proportionality and discovery planning in a class action, and optimal strategies for limiting the scope of e-discovery.
