The Institute for Law and Economic Policy (ILEP) will host its 23rd annual symposium in Naples, Florida on April 20 – 21, 2017. This year's program will cover a range of topics including:
• Business litigation in the Supreme Court
• Employment and other agreements whose confidentiality provisions impede disclosure of corporate misconduct
• Deferred prosecution agreements and their effect of public disclosure of misconduct
• The effect of federal rule changes and new technology and changes needed to resuscitate class actions
Firm Partner and President of ILEP, Edward Labaton, will provide the opening remarks of the symposium. Partner Thomas A. Dubbs will also serve as a commentator on the panel titled, “Confidentiality of Judicial Settlements and Arbitration Proceedings.” Other participants include:
