Compliance Week and Financial Research Associates will host an in-depth conversation on whistleblowers and compliance on February 27, 2017 at the Harmonie Club in New York City. This event will bring together senior compliance, finance, and audit executives to discuss ways to moderate the risk of a whistleblower. Seminars will be introduced by a panel of experts in the industry followed by audience participation.
Partner Jordan A. Thomas will participate in a panel titled, “Insights from the Plaintiff Bar on the Profile of a Whistleblower.” Sean X. McKessy, a partner at Phillips & Cohen LLP and former Chief of the Office of the Whistleblower at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will also participate as a panelist. The panel will discuss a variety of issues including:
