Center for Competition Policy: Competition Issues in Pharmaceuticals

The Center for Competition Policy will be hosting a one day conference in London, England, that will bring together academics and leaders from both industry and regulatory groups to identify and discuss the challenges facing the pharmaceutical industry on June 22, 2017. The conference will deliver insightful policy discussion with expert views and lively debate on the current competition problems and future issues this sector faces. There will be a total of five panels, each with an academic presentation followed by a panel discussion.

Partner Gregory Asciolla will serve as a panelist for the discussion titled, “Role of Authorized Generics in Enabling Pay for Delay Deals.” The panel will discuss the impact of pay for delay deals and the future challenges that the pharmaceutical industry will face as a result.
