American Conference Institute’s Annual False Claims and Qui Tam Enforcement Conference

The American Conference Institute will host its False Claims and Qui Tam Enforcement Conference at the Park Lane Hotel in New York City on January 30-31, 2017. This annual event provides guidance on the rapidly changing developments in the FCA legal landscape and has been designed for in-house counsel, chief compliance officers, and private practitioners to discover practical tips for investigating and defending cases. 

Partner Jordan A. Thomas will participate in a panel titled, “SEC Whistleblower Claims: How Financial Firms Can Best Manage Potential Relators.” The panel will discuss a variety of issues including ethical concerns, employee agreements, and guidance on how firms can implement the best practices to avoid becoming the subject of a claim. Other panelists include:
