Stacy Auer

Case Manager

Overview
Stacy Auer is a Case Manager overseeing more than 50 cases and potential matters which include securities class actions as well as proceedings related to financial products and services such as foreign exchange transactions, residential mortgage-backed securities, and structured investment vehicles.

Stacy also assisted in managing the team representing the New York State Common Retirement Fund and several New York City pension funds as lead plaintiffs in In re Countrywide Financial Corporation Securities Litigation, which has settled for $624 million.

Stacy joined Labaton Sucharow as a senior litigation paralegal in the summer of 2007. Prior to joining the Firm, Stacy served as a senior litigation paralegal at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. In this role, she provided case management for over 25 attorneys and managed teams of more than 14 paralegals while spear-heading the support efforts in New York and New Jersey State Courts, New Jersey Bankruptcy Court and the Southern District of New York. Stacy began her career at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, PC as an administrative law and public utility paralegal.

Stacy received her B.A. from New York University in 2000.
