Overview

With more than 20 years of experience, Ian Connor Bifferato focuses on representing investors in corporate governance and transactional matters, including class action and derivative litigation. Connor has experience in a broad range of practice areas, including commercial and complex litigation, alternative dispute resolution, business reorganization, creditors’ rights, and commercial bankruptcy. 

Connor previously served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including Chair of the Board of Directors for the Community Legal Aid Society; Chair of the Bankruptcy Court Alternative Disputes Resolution Practices Committee; and Co-Chair of the Committee on Community Services and Public Information for the Delaware State Bar Association. He has also held leadership positions for the Judicial Nominating Commission, Court of Common Pleas Civil Debt Committee, Combined Campaign for Justice, Superior Court Trial Practice Forum, Delaware Superior Court Rules Committee, and the Rules Committee of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Connor is the 2006 recipient of the William Poole Memorial Award, presented by the Community Legal Aid Society for his commitment to public service and to equal justice under the law. He also received the New Lawyers Distinguished Service Award from the Delaware State Bar Association in 2004.

Connor received his J.D. from Widener University School and earned his B.A. at the University of Delaware.
