Associate

Benjamin D. Bianco concentrates his practice on prosecuting complex
securities fraud cases on behalf of institutional investors. Currently,
Mr. Bianco is actively prosecuting In re NovaGold Resources Inc.
Securities Litigation
.

Prior to joining Labaton Sucharow LLP, Mr. Bianco served as a
litigation associate at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, where he practiced
complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, before
international arbitration panels, and proceedings before the U.S.
Securities and Exchange Commission, with a particular focus on
antitrust, insurance, and securities fraud matters. He began his career
at Sidley Austin LLP, where he also worked as a litigation associate.


Mr. Bianco is the co-author of "Recent Developments in Class Arbitration," Mealey's Litigation Report, September 17, 2009.

During his time at Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Bianco served as Vice President of Brooklyn Law School's Moot Court Honor Society. In addition to being a recipient of the Order of the Barristers Award, he was also a member of the Journal of Law and Policy.

Mr. Bianco is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
