In re Marine Hoses Antitrust Litigation
In In re Marine Hoses Antitrust Litigation, in the Southern District of Florida, Labaton Sucharow LLP was recently appointed Co-Lead Counsel representing plaintiffs who allege that several manufacturers of marine hoses entered into a global conspiracy to fix prices and allocate the market in order to suppress and eliminate competition for the sale of marine hoses in the United States and worldwide, in violation of the federal antitrust laws. The action is pending before the Honorable Judge Donald L. Graham.

Plaintiffs allege that Defendants participated in a massive global cartel that involved companies and individuals in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Italy, France and Germany. Investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, the European Commission, the Japan Fair Trade Commission and the U.K. Office of Fair Trading have already lead to numerous indictments, guilty pleas, fines and jail sentences involving the alleged conspiracy.
