In re Marine Hose Antitrust Litigation

Settled: February 18, 2011

In a case of an alleged global conspiracy to unlawfully fix prices of marine hoses, we obtained a settlement of $31.7 million.


On February 18, 2011, Labaton Sucharow, as co-lead counsel, obtained final approval of the last pending settlement in In re Marine Hose Antitrust Litigation. This partial settlement with Defendant SAIAG was secured on the virtual eve of trial to resolve the entire case for $31.7 million.


In this litigation, Plaintiffs allege that, between January 1, 1985 and March 24, 2008, Defendants participated in a global conspiracy to illegally fix the prices of and allocate the market for marine hose in violation of the federal antitrust laws. The action is pending before the Honorable Donald L. Graham in the Southern District of Florida.
