Michael W. Stocker provides insight on how improv comedy troupes can help lawyers
Labaton Sucharow introduced a new way for associates to receive their three points of CLE credit. With the help of the improv troupe, Upright Citizens Brigade, the Firm's associates were given the chance to learn the art of improv and how to apply it to a courtroom setting.
"Associates quickly learned how to handle the anxiety of extemporaneous speech with a team consisting of an experienced lawyer and comedian. They also laughed a lot in the process," said Firm partner Michael W. Stocker.
