Michael W. Stocker acknowledges broad differences between plaintiff and defense firms
Duke University School of Law professor James Cox said broad differences between entrepreneurial plaintiff firms and the more hierarchical defense firms mean there's usually no revolving door between the two sides.
It's also "probably at least in part due to the antipathy that defense firms usually feel toward the plaintiffs' bar," said Michael Stocker, a partner at class-action specialist Labaton Sucharow.
