Labaton Sucharow Finalist for Securities Litigation in the 2016 Elite Trial Lawyers ListNEW YORK (October 13, 2016) – Labaton Sucharow LLP is pleased to announce today the Firm has been selected by The National Law Journal (NLJ) as part of the publication’s 2016 Elite Trial Lawyers List. The Firm was named as a finalist in the Securities Law category and won the award for 2015.
According to NLJ, the honorees were selected after thorough research, analysis, and nomination vetting by editors and reporters at VerdictSearch, Law.com, and NLJ. For the category finalists, the judges closely reviewed submitted nominations and reported on accuracy and performance. Since teamwork contributes to successful trial work, the judges recognized the work of firms as a whole.
According to the NLJ, the Elite Trial Lawyers nominees needed to devote at least 50 percent of their litigation resources to plaintffs work and derive half or more of their revenue from plaintiffs-side activities. They also should have scored at least one significant plaintiffs win in the past year and possess an impressive track record of wins within the past three to five years.
Winners will be announced on Tuesday, December 6, at an awards dinner in New York, NY.
