Christopher J. Keller talks about the Firm’s successes over the past year

Noting that the headline figures don’t always tell the whole story behind the groundbreaking work that wins big legal battles, Labaton Sucharow partner Christopher J. Keller said, “Sometimes the size of the settlement is not necessarily indicative of the quality of lawyering that goes into it.”

Keller said Labaton devotes resources into its investigations and relishes in the distinction of being a plaintiffs advocate, building cases from the ground up, as opposed to the counterpunching strategy of the defense side. It requires a certain way of thinking, etched firmly in the firm's culture.

“We truly are the architects of our cases,” Keller said. “It allows for far more creativity.”
