New York State Bar Association: Why Antitrust?
New York, NY
June 16, 2016
The New York State Bar Association's Antitrust Section will host their annual program titled, “Why Antitrust?” at the law offices of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP on June 16, 2016. The goal of this program is to inform summer associates, law students, and young lawyers on antitrust matters. The program assembles a panel of antitrust practitioners who graduated in the last 10 years to discuss what led them to antitrust law; provides details on the types of cases, transactions, or other antitrust work they have handled; and offers insight into optimal positioning to capture a job in the field. This year's panel includes attorneys from small and large law firms who represent both plaintiffs and defendants, and attorneys from antitrust enforcement agencies, including the DOJ Antitrust Division and the Antitrust Bureau of the Office of the New York State Attorney General.
Labaton Sucharow associates Robin van der Meulen and Rudi Julius will participate on the panel to offer perspectives from the plaintiffs side.
