New York State Bar Association: International Competition Law and Compliance

The New York State Bar Association's International Section will host the Certificate of Advanced Studies International Competition Law and Compliance program on July 8 at Zurich School of Management in Winterthur, Switzerland. The goal of this program is to teach participants how to be familiar with the sources of law, legal principles, and operating procedures of national and international competition law. Additionally, this program will demonstrate to participants how to apply these lessons in a real-world context, and integrate it into their corporate strategy.
Labaton Sucharow partner and Antitrust and Competition Litigation Practice Co-Chair Jay L. Himes will speak on the topic, "Antitrust—Compliance and Litigation." This segment will inform participants about the following topics:
• Understanding antitrust compliance
• Analysis of risk and process management
• Creation and implementation of compliance programs
• Design and implementation of corporate compliance strategy
