American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law: State Enforcement Committee Webcast

New York, NY
October 16, 2017

On Monday, October 16, from 1:00-2:00 PM ET, The American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Antitrust Law’s State Enforcement, Health Care and Pharmaceuticals, and Unilateral Conduct Committees present an audio panel discussion titled, “Pushing Forward or Staying the Course?: Product Hopping, Exclusionary Conduct, and the Recent Suboxone MTD Ruling.” The panel will discuss, in conversational format, the recent ruling on the motion to dismiss the multistate complaint in the Suboxone case. Panelists will provide background on the motion to dismiss, and will then address how the ruling fits within the existing state of the law with regard to both pharmaceutical product hops and conduct in the case that is alleged to have led to delayed generic entry (including REMS and FDA citizen petition issues).

Attorney Matthew J. Perez of the Firm’s Antitrust and Competition Litigation Practice will serve as the moderator. Panelists include:

  • Jeffrey C. Bank, Of Counsel, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati
  • Matthew D. Kent, Partner, Alston & Bird LLP
